It's not every day I get to sit with a former bridal couture designer, but today I find myself in the presence of Evalina Schmidtke, who's left the field of bridal couture, and is entering a new, exciting focus at Robert Sweep, building a new Bridal Registry!
With 15 years background working directly with brides and manufacturing and delivery Calgary-made couture gowns, she brings industry knowledge and experience like no other. She has an eye for quality crafted merchandise, which is going to be the focus at the new store, showcasing high quality, high style and great value.
The new Bridal Registry at Robert Sweep is set to launch April 1st, and will feature iconic brands such as Alessi, Stelton, Sabre, and Leff Amsterdam. There really isn't a full service bridal registry in Calgary that showcases these must-have and sought-after product lines.
and they would share their dream dress ideas with me. I would help them choose from couture brands such as Vera Wang, Badgely Mischka, Claire Pettibone, Priscilla of Boston, and some of the top couture brands from New York. I set up my salon like a boutique and would spend a full hour in the spa-like environment; peaceful and serene. This experience was fully dedicated to them and their dreams."
This is truly a highlight for brides as their plan for their special day, and the Registry experience is just as exciting and fun!
Starting in March, Robert Sweep will be taking reservations for couples to book their private sessions with Evalina. We can't wait!
