Elbow Park Renovation

Our client hired us to create a vision of a master bedroom and ensuite into a functional luxurious space that addressed a long term residency. The space was to have functional spaces with closed doors, an open layout and beautiful materials. The existing ensuite had "his and hers" separate closet and vanity spaces that resulted in a highly divided space. Function was a priority with classic and elegant fixtures. The floor plate presented a large space that was able to accommodate larger, functional closet, vanity and wet rooms.
We presented beautiful materials that complimented the existing home features. Taj Mahal Marble and kit-kat onyx, antique brass and rift cut oak were the noble elements we chose to acheive this goal.
The process was a collaboration of ideas with our client. The clients wishes for function was fundamental to work within the foundational template of the original architecture.
After our team collaborated ideas with research and concepts, a list of features were presented and discussed according to priority to establish a criteria for the project.
Our team presented a colour palette, materials ensemble together with wood choices and started the process of space layout with parameters of function safety and longevity of use. After discussing several templates their benefits or disadvantages, our client decided on one template that fulfilled all the requirements.
Our next and most important element was choosing a team that could execute our vision to the level of our clients expectations. Our choice from our experience was unanimous and after presenting our client with the track-record, execution, quality of workmanship and oversight, together we chose Empire Kitchen and Bath to be our choice for contractor. Our clients vision and request had always been for quality and craftsmanship and a collaborative approach along the process. Our team worked closely with Empire Kitchen and Bath along every step of the process from execution of the technical sketches to the choices of fixtures and materials. We were thrilled with how Empire's team had worked with us entirely through the process. The communication was seamless. Problem solving was a team effort always with our client central needs a priority. As the client lived in the space while the renovation was undergoing, respect and consideration was essential to keep the living areas clean and protected while construction was underway.
